Nails Did! I couldn’t stand having stubby little bullshit natural nails one minute longer so I had to rush to the salon for a full set after work yesterday. I feel like a woman again! I did the design myself, and it gave me an excuse to buy a new Gold polish, since I was out of my other bottles and I can’t NOT have gold on these suckers always. And yes, I am typing with them on right now.

I tweeted yesterday about wanting to learn to do my nails myself and some friends reminded me that I should just get off of my ass and get my Nail Tech license like i’ve been meaning to do for ages (way before Fly Nails were popular on the internets or Kid Sis had released her first single). My thoughts are, it never hurts to learn a trade. If I have a bunch of documented skills, I can get work anywhere. I want to be a Jane of all Trades, I think. Which is why I’m also a Notary Public and an ordained Minister. What other cheap certifications can I get in my spare time?
